We had friendship week last week and the children took part in many activities based on being a good friend. They each coloured in a jigsaw piece as a symbol that they all fit together. We learned the friendship rules, acts of kindness and gave each other a special card.
The children also took part in the friendship cafe. They sat together and ate the lovely treats they brought in.
Junior Infants and Senior Infants had a lovely time on Tuesday.
And First and Second class devoured their treats on Wednesday ??
The senior room made a friendship tree using their fingerprints which we lit up with fairy lights on our mindfulness corner.
