The children have enjoyed learning about the importance of Lent, The Last Supper, Good Friday and Easter Sunday over the last few weeks. They have listened to stories from Grow in Love about Jesus and the Last Supper and Jesus rising from the dead.
The Junior and Senior Infants have enjoyed creating some beautiful Easter crafts. They made gorgeous Easter Bunny silhouettes using soft pastels, and they also painted Easter Eggs and Easter chicks! The children were very creative with their art, carefully decorating each item in a unique way.
On Thursday we went for an Easter walk which was enjoyed by all! The Junior and Senior Infants should be very proud of themselves completing this walk! The Junior room have also been very busy creating Easter bunnys, Easter eggs and nests out of their play doh also!
We hope you all have an enjoyable and relaxing holiday, it is most certainly well deserved after all the hard work the children have put in over the last number of weeks!
