Beannachtaí lá Fheile Bríde oraibh go léir. Happy St. Brigid’s Day to everyone as we officially mark the first day of Spring.
Our Walk On Wednesdays (WOW) continued this week promoting well-being and positivity. As a school, we enjoyed a beautiful loop walk through the country side spotting signs of Spring. Rushes picked along the way were used to make the first cross of the day.
On our return to school, we researched Saint Brigid and all classes worked together for the afternoon making St Brigid’s crosses.
Plenty team work and collaborative learning was on show and pupils did a great job supporting one another. Massive thanks to the pupils and staff for bringing in the rushes on the day.
Two of our senior room pupils , Snizhana and Illia arrived at school having already made some crosses with their mums and we appreciate this also.
