On Monday October 16th, Mrs O’Shea’s senior classroom collaborated with Sea Synergy for a beach cleanup. It was an educational experience focusing on our coastal wildlife. The students initiated their day with a beachcombing treasure hunt session, discovering remarkable marine treasures such as a hermit crab and a seal vertebra.
As the time came to begin the cleanup, the students tirelessly combed every inch of the beach, collectively collecting 13.3kg of litter!

We are grateful for this opportunity and thank @cleancoast for their support in financing transportation with Seáno from the school to the beach and for providing the essential bags and gloves that enable these beach clean initiatives.
